Richard Hilliar

Hilliar has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry in the UK and Australia. He has extensive risk management and corporate governance knowledge. His experience includes 10 years working for a major Australian bank in risk leadership roles and he has significant experience of leading the design and implementation of regulatory risk and compliance change projects.
Hilliar is a key member of EY’s Australian joint advisory and tax FATCA leadership team, and EY’s US, Europe and Asia-Pacific FATCA centre of excellence.
Hilliar has participated in the delivery of numerous FATCA readiness activities with industry and firm clients and he is currently involved in a number of FATCA projects in the banking and asset management sectors
